The 20 March 2015 total eclipse was Phill’s tenth and Steve’s seventh. We were booked on a cruise on the Voyager from Portsmouth, England around the Faroe Islands and Iceland.
The weather prospects looked bad on the day. Fortunately just before totality we hit a break in the clouds and were able to see it! Later, in Iceland, we saw some amazing aurora.
This was the 61st eclipse of Saros 120. Totality lasted about 2 minutes from our viewpoint.
