Dr Phill’s Science Made Simple
The 14 November 2012 total eclipse was Phill’s eighth and
Steve’s fifth. We were booked on a cruise on the Dawn Princess
off Australia.
This was a beautiful eclipse viewed from the Dawn Princess!
The corona was quite symmetrical and compact.
This was the 45th eclipse of Saros 133. Totality lasted 2
minutes 4 seconds from our viewpoint. At third contact we were
at 17.19753° 147.1035°E.
